Day 7 : Government

I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them.  Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.  - 1 Timothy 2:1-4 NLT

God, today I lift up our government to You. I pray for Your blessing over every leader, their households, and their families. I ask that those in authority would surrender to Your guidance and allow Your wisdom to shape every decision they make.

Let peace and healing come upon our nation. Let truth rise and prevail. Move in ways far beyond what we could ask, dream, or imagine—because that is who You are. Work all things together for good for those who love You.

I pray that every leader in authority would turn their heart toward You.  Let Your Name be known throughout our nation, and let Your super natural work transform us as we become desperate for more of You.
